Great Design, Leak-Free Performance, and Easy to Clean (★★★★★ 5)
This 1.5L hydration bladder has been a fantastic addition to my hiking gear. The fold-over top with the wide mouth is easily my favorite feature—it makes filling with water and ice quick and hassle-free, and cleaning/drying is so much easier compared to traditional screw-cap designs.I’ve been using it with a Mountainsmith hydration pack on several hikes, and the fit is perfect. It stays securely in place and, most importantly, is completely leak-free. The construction feels durable and well-made, giving me confidence it’ll hold up over time. The hose length is just right, and the bite valve is comfortable and easy to use with a smooth, consistent water flow. I also appreciate the protective cover on the valve—it keeps dirt and dust out when you’re on the trail. The quick-release tube connector is another great touch, making it super convenient to detach the hose for cleaning without any mess. The 1.5L capacity is perfect for day hikes—plenty of water without adding too much weight. Overall, this bladder delivers excellent performance at a great value.

Useful and strong enough to throw in a bike bag. (★★★★★ 5)
I've had a couple of water bladders before (I live in FL so hydration is important when doing outdoorsy stuff), but always using that round hatch for filling. It worked, but it could be a little awkward filling it like that. This is an easier way to do it, just fill it from the top like you would any bag, fold it once and lock it.Of course, the first thing I did was clean everything to get the plastic taste out of it. The bag was easy, just a little dish soap and water, then shake and massage vigorously for a minute, then drain and a couple of rinses. The hose took me a minute to figure out because I couldn't get the bite valve to work. That is, until I saw that there's a secondary lock that I hadn't undone. We don't need to talk about how long until I figured that out.Once everything was clean and I had dried the outside, I connected the hose (it snaps into place with a positive "click" and releases with the press of a button), filled it, and shook it like crazy looking for any kind of leakage, but found nothing. While I won't be using it for hiking very often, we do a lot of biking. Our hybrid/gravel bikes have bags on the back, so the water bladder can go in there, and if I leave the mouthpiece hanging out of the bag, I can pull it to me whenever I need it. It's perfect, except I have no way of reeling the hose back into the bag after I'm done. So the second option is to use it as a bottle filler, allowing me to refill my 750ml bottle two additional times without having to find a new water source.I have no plans on truly testing the durability of the bladder, it seems strong but the only way to test that is to potentially destroy it, so no. But it hasn't had any trouble bouncing around in my bike bag on a gravel trail, so that's good. For under $20, this is a good value and I'm actually going to get a second one for my partner to put in her bag as well.Oh, one thing -- drying it after cleaning can be a bit annoying because it wants to close naturally. I just disconnect the hose and put one end into the bag, which keeps a gap open in the top. Then I loop the tether for the "lid" (the blue clampy thing) around something in the kitchen so that the bladder hangs off the ground. This seems to do well and it will eventually dry.

Good quality, tight sealing top, no taste imparted on water (★★★★★ 5)
This hydration bladder is quite nice. The material feels very durable and does not impart any taste or flavor on the water. The fold over slide lock top is very similar to Source Tactical hydration bladders, and similarly, it's very easy to fill and to clean. The hose is a standard push-connect style, and the bite valve works well; it has a pretty high flow rate and it doesn't leak. The 1.5L size is decent. It fits in the laptop slot of a backpack loaded down for work.I appreciate the blue color of the bladder and the hose. It's very transparent and allows you to see if there's anything in your water or if something would be growing (like algae) if the water was left to sit too long.I've had this in a backpack that has been thrown around for about a week and the bladder hasn't leaked or presented any problems. I'm pretty pleased with it overall

Wow! What an upgrade (★★★★★ 5)
This is the best hydro pack I’ve ever bought! It has so many upgrades from the typical model. Being able to fill from the top is a game changer, it’s so much easier with less chance of leaks and you’re actually able to fill it to the top line without spilling. It also makes cleaning and drying easier! I put a skinny water bottle in the opening to have it propped open upside down and it dries so easily. There is a plastic piece that goes through the middle of the bladder to keep it from expanding too wide, but it seems pretty non-obtrusive for cleaning and drying. The bladder is high quality and feels durable, it’s not brittle at all and the material is thick. I also think that the straw has the best design. It has a cap that covers it so that you’re not getting dirt as you go along the trail, and it has a pull up or push down to close it off that’s plastic below the silicone spout, so you’re not ripping the silicone spout with your teeth and you’re not getting your dirty fingers on it. It fits easily in my bag that was originally supposed to hold a one and a half to 2 L bladder. I personally wouldn’t mind the straw being a little bit longer, but it’s pretty standard. I really can’t get over how many little changes have made this the best bladder ever!

works well, good length tube, smooth flow (★★★★★ 5)
This is a solid bladder that works well and as expected. Some specifics points1. Arrival. Like with most of these, you'll want to wash it out first. It has a little odd taste to it immediately out of the packaging (they recommend to wash -- I just like to get a sense of what the wash does so I taste first). Just did some rinsing out and let it air dry, and also ran water through the drink tube. Just took one round of that to have no taste at all, which has not always been the case with other bladders, so a plus2. mouth is nice and wide -- glad to see most bladder have gone this route. The fold/slide over closure is pretty standard and works well--no futzing or hyper-attention needed. Also nice that the closure is attached with a decently strong cord. Never understand the ones that don't attach them, so another plus3. Comes with the usual bite hard-cap. It takes a bit more effort to take it off -- not a major issue at all, just a noticeable one. That may ease up with more usage. The bite piece and tube themselves work fine with smooth even water flow4. It's a good length tube--not so short you have to contort to drink and no so long it takes up lots of space in your pack or flaps around5. 1.5 is a nice sweet spot amount for shorter hikes6. tube snaps into place and releases smoothly and easily--no feeling of forcing things at all7. no leaksvery pleased with it
